So you have decided to take the plunge into the world of custom clothing and buy your first custom made suit. You’ve come to the right place. Before we sit down with each of our customers it is worth talking suit basics: Is this a formal suit, business suit, or casual suit? Do you want a single or double breasted? If single breasted, do you prefer two or three buttons? If double breasted how many buttons do you prefer two, four, or six? Lastly, what type of lapel is most fitting for your occasion, button choice, and body style? If this is your first suit, a more traditional single breasted two button suit, with a notch lapel and flap pockets is a great starting point and we usually suggest a solid color such as a medium blue to navy blue.

If you are unsure about your design, we recommend bringing in pictures with things that inspire you this will help with the design process. We strongly suggest that you bring with you a favorite off the rack suit if you currently own one. This will help us understand your fit and style.  A noteworthy mention is all of the suits sold at Panno Divina are full canvas construction; made with either camel or horsehair interlining fabric.

Once the outer design is chosen, a range of additional design choices can be made to your suit, such as interior jacket lining, monogramming, pick stitching, sleeve button functionality and so forth. On completion of your fabric and design choice we then take a series of measurements to ensure a proper fit. Your order will then be placed into production and we will set up a second meeting for your final fitting. If there are any additional alterations we will have them done for free up to two weeks after you take delivery of your suit through our local master tailor.

We look forward to taking the journey with you in creating all your custom garments. We are here to help at every step of the way. See you soon!
